Rabbi Shimshon Silkin, has been teaching and lecturing internationally for over 18 years. He is formerly Rav of Beis Yisrael Congregation in Elstree-Borehamwood and the Borehamwood United Synagogue, during which time he also worked as Regional Director and Lecturer for Seed. Rabbi Silkin learned in Yeshivas Shaarei Torah, Manchester, and Mir, Jerusalem, and received Semicha from HaRav Tzvi Weissfish as well as from Dayan Zalman Nechemia Goldberg of the Beis Din Hagadol in Jerusalem. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and a degree in Rabbinic Education from the Jerusalem Leadership College. 

Rabbi Silkin spent six years working in the USA, mostly with the Dallas Kollel (DATA) as Director of Education at their branch in Plano, Texas where he also presented a national radio programme. He teaches Jewish Philosophy at several high schools throughout London and is a sought-after international speaker in the UK and other communities around the world.
